How YouProvide helps to submit your files safely and efficiently
YouProvide is an online portal utilized by accounting firms to request files from clients.
Projects and Lists
Files are requested within a Project, typically corresponding to a specific task carried out by the accountant. For example, compiling a financial statement or auditing it. The project pertains to a specific fiscal year, usually indicated in the project's name or description.
Documents are usually requested for various companies/entities/accounts falling under the respective assignment. An individual list of required documents is provided for each entity (part of the business structure).
Uploading Documents
You can easily submit documents by uploading them. The maximum file size ranges between 500MB and 1GB per file, which is typically sufficient for most requested financial data dumps.
Files are securely stored with an encrypted file name in a document vault on Microsoft servers.
Collaborate with colleagues
You can easily involve your colleagues to assist in providing lists, or parts of them. Simply share a list, section, or item with a colleague. This way, the colleague will only have access to the assigned sections, ensuring the confidentiality of information remains secure.
Printing a List
Sometimes you may need to print out a list. At the list level, you will find the option to Export List. This will download the entire list into an Excel file. You can then format and print it as needed.
