Can I create new client users?

As an accountant, I would like to create client users and assign (parts of) lists to them. Is this possible?

No, this is not possible.

Distributing lists among client users is a responsibility assigned to the ClientAdmin of the client organization.

As an accountant, you prepare the lists and share them with your primary contact at the client. This contact is responsible for providing the requested documents and can assign (parts of) lists to colleagues as needed.

  1. Whenever you, as an accountant, share a project or list with an email address that does not already exist in the system, a new client user will be created from that email address. This new user will be linked to the client's project and will automatically receive the role of ClientAdmin.
    You can share a project or list multiple times with client users.
  2. A ClientAdmin can create new colleagues through the Users menu and assign them the appropriate roles.
  3. A ClientAdmin can share a project or list with an email address that does not yet exist in the system. This action will create a new client user with the role of User.

Please note: If a project or list is shared with an existing client user, their current roles will remain unchanged.
