Trace updates to lists

How can you easily identify feedback or returned items from your accountant?

While submitting the required documents, you will engage in various communications with the accountant responsible for reviewing these submissions.

You can stay updated on the feedback from the accountant through daily or weekly emails (see also Receiving update Emails). But how can you quickly identify where the accountant has provided feedback?

Relevant updates

YouProvide sends you an update email whenever one of the following events occurs in a project:

  • The accountant adds a comment to an item
  • The accountant marks a submitted item as returned
  • The accountant adds new items to a list

Project overview

When you open the project from either your email or the YouProvide dashboard, you'll see the following overview:

Comments and returned items

You can quickly identify where the accountant has provided feedback by looking at the various icons displayed:

There are new comments from the accountant (the green icon will turn white after two days, allowing you to quickly see how recent the comments are).
The accountant has returned items for you to complete or modify.
This icon indicates that files have been uploaded by you or your colleagues. After two days, this icon will also turn white.:

NOTE: When you click on a list, you will see these icons displayed next to the sections and items, allowing you to quickly locate the most recent interactions from the accountant.

New items

When the accountant adds new items to a list, these additions will not be explicitly highlighted in the overview. You can continue submitting your documents from where you left off. The progress indicator will show you which lists are still incomplete:

If the accountant needs certain sections completed urgently, they can communicate this by leaving a comment or setting a deadline.
